Energy efficient heating systemsIf your thoughts this winter are to install a new heating system in your premises, or even to replace an old weary uneconomical system, why not consider the advantages of installing a new heat pump system from Airtec Services (Yorkshire) Limited.
Although the initial costs are slightly higher than a conventional low pressure hot water system, the running costs are far lower and the difference in costs are soon recovered. Other benefits would be the large amount of options available for the internal heat exchangers from floor standing, high wall mounted, under ceiling, ceiling cassettes and void mounted ducted units. All the different types of indoor heat exchangers would allow us to design the system to ensure a more comfortable environment for your personnel to work in, which in turn will ensure your staff are more productive.
All the heat exchangers have an internal fan to circulate the air around the space which will provide a more even distribution of warm air, thus helping to eliminate any hot or cold spots. Other advantages to these indoor units would be that the circulated air is passed through an air filter and a fresh air input could also be introduced, which in most modern buildings is a requirement by law, as the windows will not open to allow any fresh air into the space.
The system operates on electricity which is a more sustainable and economical option to gas, due to the high SCOP (seasonal coefficient of performance) levels these new systems operate to. This in turn means that you would no longer require a gas supply into your building.
The system also incorporates an external heat exchanger that absorbs the ambient heat which is then used to heat the internal spaces.
Although everything above is a big plus to having a heat pump system installed, we have not mentioned the biggest plus yet. The biggest plus of this type of heat pump system is the fact that come the warmer weather, it can be set to run in cooling to keep your personnel comfortable on those hot summer days, once again allowing your staff to be more productive and less drowsy.
Other options, such as heat recovery system, could also be considered which would allow you simultaneous heating and cooling.
Should you wish to investigate further into one of these systems we would be delighted to assist you find the correct application to suit your needs.
